For years, students from all over the U.S. have made important contributions and lasting impacts at Marmillion & Company (MCo). We are always open to inquiries regarding internship opportunities and invite interested students to apply for positions in our New Orleans office year round.

MCo is interested in students who are as passionate as we are about helping organizations and businesses develop effective communications and plan strategically. A strong applicant will have advanced writing and editing skills; an awareness of social networking and new media techniques; creative and critical analysis and a robust work ethic.

Interns will be responsible for:

Building media lists
Assisting in maintaining, monitoring, and developing social networking sites
Monitoring media coverage
Media research
Researching and drafting various newsletter articles
Providing assistance in organizing outreach events
Other tasks as needed

Throughout the internship, applicants will be exposed to all of the tools and processes used in the public relations field in addition to becoming a more effective and efficient writer and researcher. Interns will be engaged and exposed to a variety of experiences that will help build their resume.

Applicants who can work at least 20 hours a week and who are currently enrolled in school are preferred.

If you are interested in applying please send a cover letter, resume, and writing sample (under two pages) to Marmillion + Company at
